Robert Ross (born July 12, 1969 known professionally as Black Rob, is an American rapper who was formerly signed to Bad Boy. He is best known for the 2000 hit single "Whoa!", which reached the Billboard Hot 100.
Sometime in late 2014/early 2015, Ross suffered a mild stroke, likely due to high blood pressure. He has since recovered, and in April 2015, said he was feeling better after adopting a healthier lifestyle, in which he gave up drinking and began eating better. "I had to change my health regimen and how I eat. That's it. I'm exercising and trying to keep it up," said Ross. "I don't drink no more." He is the father of four children, Kayli, Rianna, Diamond, and Million. In the light of the death of rapper DMX, a video of Ross in a hospital bed raised several concerns, as he appeared drained throughout. A video of Ross speaking on his recent health, revealed that within the last 5 years, Ross has suffered 4 strokes. #blackrob #badboy #prayers
